The CROP Walk is an ecumenical walk-a-thon to raise money for global hunger and disaster relief. The walk also supports local soup kitchens and food pantries in Northern Lake County by donating 25% of the funds raised in the local walk.
Who can help?
Walking and getting donations for the walk-a-thon.
Assist in recruiting walkers by sitting at the CROP Walk table in September and October.
Assist the local Northern Lake County CROP Walk organization in planning the annual walk.
When and Where?
Time commitment for the walk is two to three hours.
Recruitment table time is one to five hours for up to three weekends. All mass time need to be covered during this three week recruitment time.
Organizational planning with the Northern Lake County CROP walk is two to three hours per month.
