To create tangible evidence of God's endless love and compassion through knitting and/or crocheting prayer shawls. We also create baby, child and teen blankets for Project Linus; helmet liners for active servicemen & women; scarves for veterans; baby hats & garments to support Safe Haven & family crisis center projects

Who can help?

Beginning, intermediate and advanced knitters and crochets participate in the work of the ministry either during the meetings or from home. Donate skeins of yarn. (see parish website link to the ministry for specifics).

When and Where?

Optional meetings of prayer, crafting and friendship are every Wednesday in the Narthex from 1:30 - 3:00 pm. Craft from home as time permits (share your tv-watching time), while waiting at the doctor's office, or when you're a passenger in the car - it's amazing how much you can get done with just a few minutes each day!
